Raistlin's Quest for Love Version 1.01 By DoV_Tomas
Raistlin's Quest for Love is a single player, two scenario campaign created for the AOM Titans expansion.
Introduction
My clan buddies are a pretty good bunch so I was inspired to make a short campaign using some of them as characters- see the history of Raistlin and Crys for background. I think you will agree the cinematics are breathtaking. The second scenario combines the traditional AOM/T supremacy gameplay with elements of intrigue and unusual units that give the player a few different ways to win the game. The two scenarios are:
1. Scenario one is a short cinematic introduction with a little gameplay to set up the plot.
2. Scenario two is the mission proper- don't worry, lots of fighting in this section.
I suggest playing scenario two on moderate level until you get the hang of it. Later you can try on hard (very challenging) which could result in games lasting over 90 minutes. If you are looking for a faster game, pay attention to the hints and special units that provide shortcuts on how to win faster. In fact, if you chose your gods right, and are creative with your approach, it is possible to win the game in under 30 mins.

Installation
Install the RaistlinCampaignFile.cpn file into c:\programfiles\Microsoftgames\AOM\data folder.
Install the RaistlinIntro.scx and RaistlinLove.scx files into c:\programfiles\Microsoftgames\AOM\scenario folder.
Install athyr_gold.mp3 and Tchai1.mp3 files into c:\programfiles\Microsoftgames\AOM\sound\xpack\xcinematics\10_a folder.
Opening/Playing
Once all the above elements are installed, simply open AOM, click on Single Player>Titans Campaign, then on the white banner below Single Player: Campaign, click on Raistlin's Quest for Love.
Background
DoVers Raistlin and Crys met on-line, and once they finally met in person, they fell in love. But Raistlin lives in America and Crys lives in Canada, and we are all wondering whether Raistlin will ever be permanently united with Crys? To make matters more interesting, on his last visit, Raistlin proposed to Crys! Now how exactly do I come into the story? Because I like to give Raistlin- and all my clan buddies- a hard time, I thought why not design a scenario where I use them as characters?
